Advisor on Enhancement of Road Asset Management

Country: Repulic of Togo

Client: JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency)

Period: January 2024 to Now

Outline:

The Lomé-Ouagadougou corridor, which connects Lomé, the capital of the Republic of Togo, to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, is a lifeline for logistics to neighbouring landlocked countries, and as a priority maintenance corridor, the road maintenance management system should be further enhanced. Our consultants are therefore introducing ‘preventive maintenance’ to road maintenance management, working on extending the service life of roads, and reviewing road maintenance planning and maintenance management processes.

The project is also introduced on Facebook by the JICA Côte d'Ivoire office.
