The history of the Islamic Republic of Iran dates back to the Mesopotamian civilisation in BC, and the country has a rich cultural and natural heritage that reflects the history of each period, including the Persian and Islamic empires. This study confirmed and analysed the current state of the tourism sector in Iran and examined the direction of our country's cooperation with the sector.
