As part of Japan's cooperation in this regard, a rehabilitation plan for the North-South Corridor Road, which runs through Zimbabwe, has been drawn up. Specifically, the road rehabilitation plan aims to improve road speed and road safety by constructing an uphill lane and widening sharp curves, thereby promoting the use of the targeted corridor.
