Outline: 

On the purpose of the project that is to strengthen the maintenance capacity of asphalt pavement for the Offices des Routes (OR) managing national roads and the Office des Voiries et drainage (OVD) managing city roads in the capital Kinshasa, we are implementing (1) establishment of asphalt-paved road maintenance management cycle, (2) establishment of guideline of maintenance skills for asphalt-paved roads is formulated, (3) improvement of engineering skills and knowledge of road maintenance management skills. Japanese experts are working on achieving these objectives whilst supporting the Congolese Government.
