Outline
In Tanzania, the government function is being transferred from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma City, and a significant increase in population is expected. The city is located at a key point of the economic growth corridor, and there is a need for large-scale infrastructure development for domestic and neighboring inland countries to prepare for the increase of visitors and cargo. The country is planning a priority project of maintenance covering a three-tiered (inner, middle, outer) ring road. The government of Tanzania requested support by Japan for the improvement of the inner ring road, and of which tasks contain a feasibility study to analyze the target range pre-agreed by collection and confirmation survey, facilitation of the traffic flow in the city, and improvement of its living environment.
